Listen To Them: It is very good to listen and pay attention to your kids because the rate at which children are been abused now is quite alarming and to help curb this act in our society, parents and teachers must be at alert.

No/Flee: Teach your child that they have the right to say no, flee or report anyone that is trying to abuse them. The majority of abusers tells their victims to keep what is happening to them a secret or threaten them from coming out to say the truth, so be their best friend. If you are, they will open up easily and tell you things.

Teach Safety Rules: For every parent, take your time to learn and teach your children safety rules. Like pushing someone’s hand away, ordering someone to stop, leaving as soon as you can and telling. Children are more likely to be able to take actions like these when they need to if they understand their safety rules.

A prophet is being made to pay for his unbelievably criminal act after he was found out to have s*xually brutalized three girls.

Elijah Ebimone, a popular prophet in Benue, has been sent to prison.

The prophet was remanded in prison by a Makurdi Magistrates’ Court on Thursday for allegedly abducting three girls and turning them to s*x slaves.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Ebimone, 32, is facing a two-count charge of abduction and causing miscarriage, punishable under Sections 274 and 233 of the Penal Code, Laws of Benue State, 2004.

The Magistrate, Mrs Theresa Wergba, ordered the remand of the accused and adjourned the matter till Dec. 28 for further mention.

Her action followed the application for adjournment made by the Prosecutor, Insp. Daniel Suende, who said that investigation by the police was ongoing.

Suende told court that a team of detectives led by Insp. Attai Sule, attached to the State CID, Makurdi, received information about the activities of the cleric on Oct. 20.

He said that the detectives immediately launched an investigation into the matter and arrested the accused.

The prosecutor said that Ebimone, who claimed to be a prophet, had been abducting young girls and using them as sex slaves.

He said that the cleric went to Delta last June and abducted one Victory Mieturda, Dolor Dinah and Esther Young and brought them to Makurdi.

He said, “However, they got to Makurdi and he turned them into sex slaves impregnating all of them at different times and also causing them to miscarry the pregnancies.”
